Fireman31
depending on how bad the crack is, they may be able to fill it with body filler, sand, prime, and paint
wody
i have a perfect condition rear bumper but shipping it to boston mass would probably put you over budget.
04rcss
hey fireman do u know anything about bodywork??? do u think this is too far gone??
misterp
The urethane rear bumper is pretty workable with the right fillers, I think it's very fixable but will take labor to get it right; however you can get a completely unmolested one for $300-400, and I think that it would cost more than that to have a body shop repair and then repaint it so you might be money ahead in the long run to find a used one in really good shape. That's my $0.02. Mr. P.

Fireman31
hey fireman do u know anything about bodywork??? do u think this is too far gone?? a little, I manage a 30 vehicle fleet The urethane rear bumper is pretty workable with the right fillers, I think it's very fixable but will take labor to get it right; however you can get a completely unmolested one for $300-400, and I think that it would cost more than that to have a body shop repair and then repaint it so you might be money ahead in the long run to find a used one in really good shape. NTMD8R_SS
Yeah it's gonna take some labor to get it looking straight, might as well pay alittle more money and get one in good shape.

misterp
Cool deal man, I thought it would cost a little less but then again body work charges seem to be a bit higher in the northeast. Mr. P.

This is true, a majority of this nations car accidents happen here in the Northeast.....hell we average around 100 per day in my county alone(most minor). My FD responds to 2-3 per week. Body shops are a dime a dozen around here, they are everywhere you look, not to mention insurance rates here aren't great either.
