We responded to a Motor Vehicle accident this afternoon, July 4th, at about 04:30pm. It ended up being a head-on accident between a Chevy Tahoe and a Chevy Avalance ... All I can say at this time, is Alcohol was played a factor in this crash. Secondly... the outcome might be different if the driver was wearing a seatbelt ... There are now two children, under 12 years of age, that got to watch their father die today ... And the innocent person that got hit, he will be extrememly lucky to even talk another step without a walker or cane, let alone a wheelchair. Almost every bone from the waist down was shattered.
