misterp
Hmmm I'll have to check that out; I'll admit I'm a skeptic though, I've got a STi Driver and it's the best I've ever used, seen, or heard of so far. I wonder if the Escort guys fixed the lockout issue present in the 9500i... Mr. P.

12'SROCK
VALENTINE 1 for me! the V1 can be updates as well but the V1 was the FIRST to have full 360 deg coverage and direction/quantity of alert
orion :: SS
The directional arrows on the V1 make it SO much better than anything else...and it's been proven as accurate or more accurate than the other high end radar detectors. Love mine. - Brian
KJT13
love my V1 too but it picks up every CVS pharmacy, stop & shop, bank, and Liberty Chevrolet... I know when to ignore it and when to turn it down.

I turned of the X band channel and increase the Ka band sensativity on mine so i dont have the whole mall, store, or market doors triggering it off

Good detector, I drove a Vector 995 for a couple years until it was stolen from my beater. The STi is so much better I would recommend you sell the vector and upgrade, the Ka range is outstanding now, I get Ka detection range/distance as good as the Vector K-band range; the K-band falsing is a little better too.
