dmf21209 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2008 well, figured I'd update on this. Nothin new put on the truck so far, but have decided to stick to it as a project. Got it about 3 and a half weeks ago and the pinion bearing has already gone bad on it, dealership wants me to pay half for it, that's a $900 job alone. Would tackle it myself but cant at this point in time, and I heard you need a special tool to do this? Still searching around the forum, lookin where to start for mods, got a good idea already. And later, if I get deployed($cha-ching$), I'm planning on getting a supercharger. Any recommendations on what's the best to get? I've heard alot about the magnachargers but that's about it. So for right now the pinion bearing is gonna get taken care of and maybe some new rubber, I need two new fronts for sure.
