Chevcup47 Posted August 17, 2008 Report Share Posted August 17, 2008 Well when doing my first burn out today i lost anouther motor. had to call wife to have her bring the Mustang to the track. for me to run so i was able to salvage a few points. i ended up winning trophy class. and went out 3ed round in pro class. best run of the night was my .008 reaction time and ran a 9.001 with a 9.00 dial for the win in trophy. i hate it when that darn Ford runs dead on and i cant get the racecar to do it. oh well anouther motor build is getting ready to start wish me luck .............. Damn Dale, Hope those are the only bad parts. nope they werent i took a comp check. and after some not so good results i pulled the heads. and found that every valve had hit a piston. so it off to the shop for the heads. looks like 16 new valves also. guess thats the price i pay for wanting to play. looks like im driving the Mustang again next week for the last points race now.
