silverado_ss_04 Posted August 18, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 it just stoped working ,then started working for about 10sec and then died again. it didnt gradually get warmer or colder, is their any fuses or plugs i should chek? benjaminh2 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 these things are notorious for eating cycling switches. located on the side of the accumulator, pass side rear of engine compartment. hard so say for sure as we cant check the charge amount. but the switch is short money if you wanna just throw one in it. Bad Bowtie Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) Unplug this switch & by pass it (4 a quick test). I usually loop a wire back through both ends of the pigtail. If the AC starts working again, then u know u need a new pressure cycling switch.
