TX-SS
Well I got my new system installed yesterday. It is 2 Kenwood 12's, Kenwood 1000/1 Amp, and a custom down fire box. I got a VERY good deal from a friend of mine. The box is definatly not the best looking out there, but it does the job. The subs may not be top of the line, but the are LOUD! Anyways, here are some pics. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk126/j...45/P8200364.jpg http ://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk126/j...5/P8200365.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk126/j...45/P8200366.jpg

ces63ss
did you have to raise the seat to fit the 12"? I pretty much have the same box except mine houses a pair of jl10w6v3 and I mounted my amp behind the seat. Looks good man. Im sure that with that big ol amp its got to be loud. Did you upgrade your other speakers?
scooter3
Looks good man. So I see you did not have to relocate the jack and stuff.

Did you upgrade your other speakers? No the seat is still in the same position. And no, I didnt upgrade my speakers because my Bose speakers are doing the job for now. I probably will later on down the road.
TX-SS
Looks good man. So I see you did not have to relocate the jack and stuff. Haha ya man, I figured I would have to because I thought the box would come up higher. But I was wrong.
zbishop80
Do you happen to have the dimensions of that box? I'm going to be installing to JL12W3's here shortly.

The only dimensions I have are: 55.5" long 9.75" tall (outsides) 5.5" tall (over the middle hump) 14.5" wide Is that good?

Turbocoop
Looks great, it fits in there perfectly too. I built a similar one but my sub faces up and theres a bottle on the other side where another sub would go, and I made an amp rack in the middle of it over the hump
fox_forma
looks like a clean install but one question.... if you are running a 1000 wrms amp why does it look like you only have an 8awg power wire? Does it just look small in the pic or something?
whitemax
looks good! i have 2 memphis audio 12s with a memphis 1000/1 amp and it was just way too loud and sounded like my back window was going to shatter so now i have one 12.
