FwyFlyr Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Could someone who runs 22x10's give me the clearance from inside of tire to frame? I have air bags and the stocks clear by about an inch, so I'm wondering if 22's will clear. Quote
evallejo Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 that will have to with the offset of the wheels. for a 22x9.5 you need a 35mm offset to tuck. If your talking about the aftermarket SS replicas, they have a 32 mm offset (I think) and will barely tuck, you may have to trim/roll the fender. Quote
FwyFlyr Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 Yeah, They would be the 22x10 replica's. I think it said + 30mm offset. Quote
haul@ss Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 are you lowered or at stock height? cuz i can tell you right now i had a set of 22x9.5 with +35 offset with 305/40 tires and mine front wheel and tires were directly under the fender... but I'm lowered 3" up front.. Quote
FwyFlyr Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 I'm stock height. I'm more worried about clearing btwn the tire and air bag. Quote
Supercharged06SS Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 i have 22x10 in the back with airbags (for towing) and they clear by a long shot. My 22s tuck as well. Keep in mind that the 22" is a larger diameter so they should not come anywhere near the bag. Quote
