Stitches040 Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Hey Guys ... Well the Mistress has finally started to throw out the Check Engine light after 4 years ... We pulled the codes on my buddy's OBD II scanner. So, this is what I got .... Last week I got - P0101 MAF Range .... (I think it said out of range) Code cleared when I downloaded second one. Yesterday I got - P0496 - Evap Emissions High Purge Flow Fault So am I to believe my MAF sensor needs to be cleaned ... and the second one, I think is the Gas Cap not tight enough? Or would first code, in part, be the problem with the second code? Quote

Fireman31 Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 clean your MAF and TB, remove and re-tighten your gas cap.......worse case scenario is that you will have to replace the cap Quote
