317s-243s Interchangable Parts?

im wanting to put on a set of 243s. just trying to find out if any of my 317 parts will cross over??? i know springs will fit. what about valves? rockers? and im guessing a shorter pushrod will be needed?? thanks mark

yes they will interchange with each other. off note, have you ran your current set up at the track?

not since installing the cam and tbtc. i just recently got custody of my kids so i havent had the time to get to the track in a while.

 

anyone able to tell me what length pushrods ill need.

7.4 pushrods will do since you are not using the stock z06 cam that has smaller diamiter base

Pushrod length depends on which valves you use. I you use the taller soduim filled LS6 valves, use a 7.395-7.4" pushrod. Your cam should have the small base circle already. If you use the non-LS6 valves use a 7.4" to 7.425" pushrod depending on how much pre-load you're looking for.
