Badkarma Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Pretty straight forward. Wondering when I should do a sea foam top end cleaning and dump a can in the tank. Quote
Rausche Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I did mine starting at 10,000. I figure if you do it on a regular basis it's somewhat preventative maintenance. Look at it this way: It doesn't hurt anything to do it. Quote
Badkarma Posted August 26, 2008 Author Report Posted August 26, 2008 thats what im thinkin. Im around 22k now. I figure ill do one now, then once every year. Quote
Bad Bowtie Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 I add a can to my tank at every 6K oil change. I do the top end treatment annually (10-15K). Quote
12'SROCK Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 so just put i can of sea foam in the tank right? Quote
12'SROCK Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 nevermind i just went on ther site and found some info Quote
Badkarma Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 Yeah add the can straight in, or go the extra mile and draw 3/4ths of a can tru the vacume line. Like from the brake booster. Quote
benjaminh2 Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 i run 8oz of lucas fuel system treatment every other tank of gas. it helps with rough idle due to lean misfires and prevents upper end deposits. cheap to, a big bottle is only ten bucks at napa, and it lasts me a couple months... Quote
Badkarma Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 I was wondering, i plan on pulling it through the brake booster line to clean the intake and cylinder heads. Does the brake booster vacume line source reach all cylinders? Quote
