allballz57 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 yea but ur comparing apples to oranges. im not 100% sure but i think the ZR1 had set the record for a street legal car, and now the viper has it. yes it is made for the track but its still street legal and thats the record. chevy can come up with a vette that is lightweight and made for track but they havent, they have the C6R but its illegal on the streets. anyways, again, im not sure if that is the record, but i thought it was The ZR1 set the record for a PRODUCTION CAR. THE ACR IS NOT A PRODUCTION CAR,so they accomplished nothing!!!! Now if dodge comes out with a production viper for the masses that beats the record wellthen bravo to them.
