Storing Summer Wheel's & Tires?

Well it's almost time to put the stock silvers back on for the fall/winter months here in MO.

I was wondering what would be the best way to store the chrome spring/summer wheels and tires?

I'm guessing the bottom one on a couple of 2x4's then stacked 4 high?

- With full air or?

- Coat the chrome with? or just a clean and polish before storing?

What are most of you guys doing that live in this Snowy, Salty environment?

Clean your rims/tires thoroughly front and back, then polish the chrome. I store mine stacked on 4x4's with cardboard between each tire. You can leave them inflated to their normal pressure. :chevy:

Thanks Fireman31

I was on the right track then. Just about mentioned putting cardboard or something in between them. Just wasn't sure about the pressure.

Are you putting cardboard on top of the 4x4's as well then too?

He's got you covered.

Also, it is a good idea to make sure all of the tire dressing is off the tires. The Mr. Clean magic eraser works awesome when scrubbing down the tires.
