wishminewasanss
I just bought some 2" Belltech drop shackles for my silvy, and have one important question. So my exhaust tips sit right under the stock leaf and shackles, and sit problably like a inch from them, and iam afraid that intalling the schackles will not work out which being that my tips sit under. So iam thinking of loosing the tips and just getting turndowns, or relocating my tips. So any help would be appreciated! TIA! Jamie.
12'SROCK
they shouldnt be in the way since they relocate the leafs 2" higher not lower as not to disturb your exhaust tip
eddieo818
they shouldnt be in the way since they relocate the leafs 2" higher not lower as not to disturb your exhaust tip they push the leafs up higher, the lower part of the shackle stays exactly where the sock one was. NTMD8R_SS
I would cut them, when i had 2" shackles the stock bumpstops sat about 1/4" from the frame, so i went ahead and cut 2 nubs off.

NTMD8R_SS
Yup that would do the trick also, now that i have my drop complete hangers/shackles, my bumpstops are directly on the frame(no bracket) and only have 1 nub left. Tzer
I cut one bump off, but I haven't relocated them either. I suppose that could be the cause of a harsh bump in the rear when going over certain bumps (Uneven Pavement) in the road. Otherwise is rides great. ss wrecker
just do what Art said and relocate the bumpstops to the frame. don't cut any nubs off from what i understand if you cut any off the ride will become harsher from a post i read by Mr.P. i have relocated mine and it rides so much better. just my 0.
