brobradh77 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) welcome to the site man..nice truck lets see..if it were mine i'd lose the side molding, paint or get rid of the HD tail lights, lower it, color match the grill, mirrors, and bumper, and roll pan FTW... There are you some ideas Edited September 8, 2008 by brobradh77 (see edit history) Quote
haul@ss Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 tint the windows n get some hids if ya havent already, remove the moldings, and do an antenna delete. Those are some of the cheapest/free mods you can do. And no go on the lift haha. drop that biotch! and do the color matching stuff that brad suggested. Looks good Quote

black00chev Posted September 9, 2008 Author Report Posted September 9, 2008 welcome to the site man..nice truck lets see..if it were mine i'd lose the side molding, paint or get rid of the HD tail lights, lower it, color match the grill, mirrors, and bumper, and roll pan FTW... There are you some ideas Side moldings I've thought about but just not sure how those are gonna be. If they're anything like a couple of the badges I took off, I don't want a nice outline left down the side of my truck. I've been thinking about gettin the '03+ tails, not sure what I wanna do about the fronts. Rear I've already dropped 2", tough to tell cause the ground wasnt level when I took the pics. The color match idea ive been toying with since seeing all of the blacked out SSs on here and instantly loving that idea. Roll pan will be a no go just because I do haul and need the bumper from time to time to climb in the back. what it 4x4 right... Yes it is. tint the windows n get some hids if ya havent already, remove the moldings, and do an antenna delete. Those are some of the cheapest/free mods you can do. And no go on the lift haha. drop that biotch! and do the color matching stuff that brad suggested. Looks good Window tint will be done sometime before winter comes around. Thought about the antenna delete too, just not sure how that will turn out, I do listen to the radio every morning (Elliot in the Morning FTW!!!). And again, i did do 2" in the rear, probably all I'll go since I still haul bikes. But the blacking out will be something I will start doing soon I think. Where can I get black mirror caps, or can I repaint the stock chrome caps to match? I recently bought some new chrome ones and they didnt line up very well untill 6 layers of double sided tape. Quote
