ibuildm Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I just bought a 06 SSS and the outside mirrors don't seem to lock properly. I have checked other trucks without remote folding mirrors and they lock firmly in position and it takes a lot of pressure to fold them. Both of my mirrors fold back easily. They don't seem to move at 70 mph but it seems that if I went 80 or 90 that the wind pressure would fold them back. I don't think my truck has remote folding mirrors as I cannot find any swith to operate them. The manual is very vague in explaining their operation. It says that if the remove mirrors are folded back manually it take two or three opetations to make them work properly again. Does anyone have the remote folding mirrow that can tell me how theirs feel when manually folded back? Thanks, Tim Quote
chris B Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 The power folding mirrors move in fairly easy not alot pressure needed to move them.to fold the power mirrors in just hold the adjustment button on the door in (press down on the inside edge for a couple seconds) chris Quote

ibuildm Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 here is a pic of the control on the driver door take care I figured it out.The left-right mirror switch must be in the middle position. Then the other switch controls the folding mirrors. Quote
