That was about 6 months ago and he still wasnt done so I said the hell with it, I got em back from him and nothing was done at all yet. So I primed them, painted them with 3 coats of hi-temp black semi gloss and then 3 coats of hi-temp clearcoat. After a bunch of sanding and painting they are done, theres a few dimples and some little stuff I didnt care about cause you cant really see it. I wsa tired of all the sanding so I just left em how they are. The best part is I can pop my hood and still nobody can see that I have nitrous sneaky sneaky incase you dont believe me-- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Turbocoop Posted September 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 yeah I forgot to mention I sanded off the raised vortec 6000 logo and the lines on top I think I used 80 grit for that and then I went over all of em with like 120 to remove the texture. I used high build primer and sanded it with 1000 and steel wool to get it perfectly smooth.
