Remembering September 11th 2001

I was in 8th grade, our school tried to hide the news from us and sent everyone home early... None of the kids found out until they got home.

NEVER FORGET.

I was in 11th grade.

Kind of strange that I live the next town over from where the American Revolution began and where 2 of the planes from Logan were hijacked geographically...

:flag: rip 9/11 victims

Again I state ...

To all of my fellow brothers, who have made the ultimate sacrifice, I thank you!

... ... ... ... ...

To my friend and my "Big Brother", Peter M. Goodrich, We miss you, I miss you, the world misses you ...

The Peter Morgan Goodrich foundation .... ... (please read)

Peter is my best friend's, older brother. His life was tragically ended, on September 11, 2001. Peter was a passanger on United Flight #175. This is the second plane to hit the World Trade Center. Peter was the type of guy to care about any and every aspect of your life.

Peter, I know I miss the wrestling matches, the punch on the shoulder and the genuine conversations you and I have both shared.

All is well, but you are sorely missed ...

Instead of dwelling on the life of their son, Sally and Donald have decided to Share their son's life and memory through the foundation. His mother Sally, has opened a school in Afganistan for wonen, in honor of her son.

I will always remember where I was that day. The thing that sticks in my mind were the people jumping out of 70-80 story windows to get away from the fire knowing they're going to die either way.

I think they should show 5-10 minutes of the footage once a month on every TV, satellite, and cable station, because I think too many people easily forget what happened, and why we're at war.

I'm with you CoolBlueSS!

Only a min ago it seems a moment that lasts a lifetime with all of us that experinced it. To those that i served with and will serve with in the future i will always keep in my prayers and stand by proudly. My friends just left on a deployment and first time i not been with them. It kills me to know they are doing the mission and im not there to lend a hand.

God bless and pray we have a free america for years to come :flag:

:withstupid:

I cant believe when I turned on the tv this year none of the ceremonies were on primtime tv (unless msnbc is considered primtime). We do need reminders of why we are at war. I always watch the NGC specials and every time I see those buildings I wish I could join the USMC (physically unable to). Good job with the flag diggerdan11.

It was a different story here, they were all over TV.......rightfully so because NY was the

hardest hit that day. :flag:
