Hey All ...

 

As stated earlier in the year, it is time for the 3rd annual SilveradoSS.com Day at the Drags!!!! After some discussion, we have settled on October 18th, 2008. (October 4th, Cancelled.)

 

Since many of you traveled great distances last year. Talk of a staying over that Saturday night, and then doing a foliage cruise on Sunday, has been talked about. So, please chime in. Add yourself to the list. (cut/paste ... do it how you need to.)

 

Just as a reminder ... Hotels may bookup quick and be a bit pricey ($150-200), due to Foliage season. Keep that in mind. The more people that opt to stay over, I will look into rooms ASAP.

It was only $30-$35 ... that was it ... The do pop the hood and have a look, and wiggle your battery ....

As many that show up. ... Last year we had about 18 trucks. We had two lanes in the begining, but got put down to one, due to not as high of an attendance as we expected.

Last year ... we didn't need anything. They wiggled my battery and slapped an Inspection Passed sticker on my windshield, and I was good to go ... I did bring a helmet just in case.

 

I think they only made us wear a seatbelt. ... LOL

You will need a helmet if you run 13.99 or faster. There were people racing in shorts last year (that was a big surprise to me)

This is the one event I have been looking forward to ever since my first post...... I cannot make it due to surgery on Oct. 2nd

Please take some vids or pics so I can check them out while I am in bed when you guys get back. Have fun and safe
