Well I got a friend with a nissan titan, he's not really a gearhead or anything, but wants to add an exhaust to it to see if he can improve the gas mileage and get a good sound out of it. The thing is he doesnt want anything really loud, kind of a subtle rumble if that makes any sense. From what I've found, dynomax systems seem to be what he would want, and they dont cost much ($300). I was just wondering if anyone on here knew about their durability/relliability, dont want to steer him in the wrong direction. If it were me, custom all the way, but a bolt-on setup is what would fit this situation.

check the what the Dynomax system is made of, I bet it is alluminized mild steel.........if so, it will rot through in a few years........from what I have seen, the Dynomax cat-back kits are nothing more then a glorified Walker replacement system with tips and a bit better muffler

sounds like he might like the Gibson system. They come in aluminized or stainless steel. Dont know if they fit his truck, but they have a super truck exhaust system (exits right before rear tire) and it is stainless and only $379. They have other designs but they reach into the 500s.

Have not heard a dynomax exhaust before, but the Gibson gives a nice little aggressive rumble, nothing too loud but is noticable.

I dont know if you have looked into magnaflow, they are a little louder and maybe cost a little more but they sound really good and really not alot of in cab resonance.

I would go for a magnaflow or a borla setup. They will be more money but they are a long lasting, deep sounding exhaust system. The old saying applies "You get what you pay for"
