Where did yal get your 160 stat. from for the guys with the '03 SSs? Fireman31 Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 A new throttle body really isn't worth it unless you are changing the intake manifold along with it or you are making serious power with FI, NOS, or serious internal engine mods. Some guys have had theirs ported and polished instead of replacing it. TB spacers do absolutely nothing but make noise, please do not waste your money on one. Bryan Roush Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 i have an 03 sss and i had my tb ported and polished and bought my 160 thermo from slp. haven;t put the thermo in yet but have installed the ported tb and notice i difference. not huge but noticible over stock.
