On October 4th, I and 4 other people from work are going to participate in the Boot Camp Challenge being held in San Diego at the Marine Recruit Depot. I am really looking forward to it, but I am also a little worried it is going to kick my @ss. It is a 3-mile obstacle course on paved roads and hard-packed dirt - flat and fast. Over 50 obstacles, including hay jumps, tunnel crawls, fox holes & trenches, cargo netting, and push up stations with drill instructions at each station to make sure you've completed your obstacles. So if there are any Marines out there that can shed some light on this please post up. We want to make it to the end without the aid of a stretcher!

Yeah bro its not hard you just gotta push yourself. The key though is to have fun with it and enjoy it. as a marine stationed at camp pendleton thats what i do everytime we do something like that. You should always try to be better than the guys in front of you. you'll be aight

Eezy, I think I might have seen you around Camp Pendleton! I just moved out to the 33 area! What part of Camp Pendleton are you on?

Just go out there to have fun, and enjoy it! Push yourself though, and when you feel like your about to give up, dig deep and push yourself some more.
