Getting better. Did you run the smaller wheels/tires?

Sure did. Ran with 16's wheels, tires were 225/70/16 (28.4"). The 16 tire/wheel combo weighed in at 51lbs compared to my 22's at 85lbs each.

I was @ 14.2 with the 20's on there and no headers.

get a cold night w/16's and I bet you be in the 13's

its so hard hitting the track and not putting up the numbers you want. good luck.

Good job Mike, I think you are 13.9s in a little colder weather. The weird thing is you didnt gain much MPH from your 14.39 to your 14.15. Did you have your spare and hitch removed last time out?

Last fall when I ran the 13.86 it was at 97mph and yesterday my 13.80 was at 99.7 and the only thing different is the drop and 22s up front. I wonder if being that low helped with aerodynamics?

On the 14.39 run I had no spare and the hitch was on. The 14.15 run I had both the spare and hitch on.

I think if you dropped the 22's for 17's you would have got your 13.7, oh well your truck ran bad ass either way. I think we all ran well, pretty suprising to the others that a 5000 plus truck with minor bolt ons can go like that...

Sorry I did not let you know we were going, it was kinda a last minute thing. I figured being last minute and you being so far that you probably would have needed more notice :chevy: my bad. Maybe next year we can plan a meet at a strip

Hey whats up! It was good to see Raceway park going strong again. You guys had some good lookin rides and representin' the SSS well. That was cool on your last run that you got to go against OUT2WIN, it was a sweet race. It was nice meeting you guys in person. I am gonna try and go next weekend too. A couple of friends are taking thier rides out to get some times. Maybe I'll see ya there. Later, Jim

Good meeting you too  We had lots of fun, and I agree it was great to see the track going strong. I dont think i'll make it out next weekend but we definaltely need to have GTG at the track next year. You taking the SS out next weekend, maybe your GF's TBSS? Anyway good luck next weekend.

Remember that stock 06' Red SS, 2wd? I saw he ran 15.04 his first run, did you see how he made out? I think he dialed in a 14.65 or something close, just curious how he did.

What was the weather like? For running the short tire I'd have guessed 13's out of it. Did you make any passes with the 22's?
