Im just trying to think how I lost? should I race again but from a stop I don't want to loose again. :chevy:

you wouldnt be talking about the srt8 would you cause that jeep is nasty

That would have taken him by more than 1-2 lengths. The HEMI is a little stronger than us from a roll but off the line you should pull him (thanks to granny low 1st gear) and hold him off until right at the end of the 1/4. Even with a CAI and Catback you won't be much faster if any. HP/TQ specs are right with the SS and it's A LOT lighter...

i just raced my other friend that has a 1985 comaro its a 350 with flowmasters, hooker headers, bbk 52mm throttle body, shift kit and 8mm spark plug wires and we raced up the same hill at a 10-15 roll and he beat me by 3-4 cars by the time we hit 80, should i race him again from a stop or do i not have a chance?

Yeah really...

Your truck is going to suffer a lot more than the other vehicles because IT'S HEAVIER! Also we've already told you these trucks don't do as well rolling. That's because it has a granny low 1st gear and a big leap to 2nd. If you're right at the end of 1st you won't have time to gain any momentum before it shifts and lugs you down. These trucks will beat a lot of stuff FROM A DEAD STOP but once rolling you can pack it in. These trucks don't trap the right speeds IMO. My cousin had a '91 regular cab trapping the same speeds (92 mph) but a full second slower (15.60s)
