kelleyperformance
i had trouble hitting 100 mph in a 5 speed 06 reg cab 4 cyl colorado... well, trouble as in i needed a hill and nearly 3 minutes just for shits and giggles doing an errand in one of the parts trucks i posted a some-what useless post in there agreeing with you zippy... i find anything said to that guy will just be rebutted with more bullshit. plus, like it was said- who cares honestly??? its sad how many forum stories get out of hand. "call phil he will tell you i did it! he was there!" well in that case, last night i hit 240 mph in the SS. i didnt wanna BRAG or anything, but call mike he was there! he will tell you! that means it HAS to be true so childish lol
JSTAL
Yeah, I might be stirring the pot a bit. If I posted on here that I had a 3/4 ton S10 with a 2.8L and a 5 speed that went 155mph I'd expect someone to give me some crap about it. That doesn't include the Blazer that beats Lightnings or the 28mpg full size flat nose truck. lol if you posted that load of bull shcnykies on here you would be beaten flogged and crucified lol
hot rod truck
I really like his comment about building a 302 stroker out of a 283 block with a 327 crank
kweber1911
reading that thread this morning made my morning. I chuckled a little bit at work. I guess my ford probe with 118hp should be able to hit roughly 178 mph....just a guestamation though plus it should get like 118 mpg too instead of the 30 that it gets... I just laugh at people like that, there are a few around South Dakota here that brag like that.
