Price-performance just doesn't add up for me honestly. You can get a 480hp LS3 for less than a stock L92 and you can build a monster LQ9 for a lot less... Quote

I'd just do an LQ9 with L92 heads in place of it. As for the heads, the valves would hit the top of the bore on a 5.3L. Quote

Well my buddy and i have been looking through the insurance auctions and i found a couple escalades and denali's that are in my price range 5-7grand thinking about buying the truck parting it off and keeping the engine&trans after parting it out id be in about 3-4grand for the engine and trans is that reasonable?? or too much?
