Just ordered powerslot plus rotors for the front ,14", still stock on the rear but new pads all around , do you guys think I should up size the rear too ,or is it necessary?

If you have the money, you can upgrade the rears also.....it isn't necessary but it would definitely help with better braking and brake feel. You may also want to consider upgrading to stainless brake lines also.

To answer your original question, when upgrading the front and rear brakes to the PS Plus kit, you will have 14" rotors all around.

the rear disk has a build in drum for the parking brake which makes them a bit more $$ and not as many choices for upgrades.

Thanks guys , I guess we'll see about getting some stainless lines upsizing the rears ,can,t wait to see how good they work. I think I'm going to go out do some stops from 30 and 60 mph see what it takes to stop stock ,(feet),compare to the new set up and post them for anybody looking to do the same.

Guy's, as far as I know, unless PowerSlot has added them, they do not have the rear rotors in the Plus size for the AWD trucks. They list a set for the regular trucks, but they are thinner than what the SS, Denali's, Yukon's and Suburban's use. 19mm thick rotors instead of 28mm thick rotors.

I just received the fronts yesterday from mopac in Langley BC Canada 2day delivery ,as I'm in northern BC .I tried through AJ usa but almost $200 for shipping . I actually got them for $440 + shipping approx. $30. Does anybody know how much brake fluid a 2003 SS pu takes , I want to upgrade to dot 5.

not to hijack ur thread but I have a brand new set of front powerslot plus rotors for sale if anyone is interested.

go with the s/s braided lines. they will really firm up the pedal feel and stop better too.
