Transmission Install Gathering (n/e Pa)

Well, the tranny and T-case is ready to be installed behind the 408! I need a couple of extra grunt workers to assist me in lifting the puppy in. Due to the way my exhaust is routed, a tranny jack will not work (well) I did it by myself last time and just about killed myself (picture me laying under my truck bench pressing the tranny onto the dowel pins...an accident waiting to happen) .

I will be working at like 7AM but to all that wish to come over, anytime is fine. I am anticipating 2 snags with the install however if all goes well, the tranny will be installed in like an hour. I then need to button up the headers to see how much I need to weld. I think we will lose interest and figure out something to do in the afternoon. O.K. 4x4 (a truck shop near me) is having "Trucktoberfest" which may be an interesting place to stop by.

 

 

All are welcome to come on over. No pressure to do any work either. I will enjoy the company.

If there's time, I'd love to hook up the computer to my truck to have a look. I've never had that opportunity since it was tuned.
