sceptre Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 hey guys, i'm looking at getting a CAI, as you can see from my other post. However, I live in northern canada and I am wondering how it will affect my truck when it is -35. Should I switch back to stock intake for winter?? any info would be greatly appreciated Quote
mcmahan Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 i dont think it will make a diffrence but its hard to say ive never had a exsperience with that. but in sure some one will know.. Quote
bubba3689 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I don't think it wil make a difference and the throttle body has coolant flow through it to heat for cold temps Quote
eddieo818 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I dont think the cold weather will affect it. Quote
FireRescueSS Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Never heard of it being too much of an issue on a gasoline engine, but like usual, allow the engine to safely warm up during temps that cold. Quote
mymaxxss Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 It should not be a problem for you. I live in Duluth, MN and I had a CIA on my previous pickup (05 GMC Canyon) and didn't any problems at all. The truck was not kept in a garage. Quote
