shawnss Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Well two days ago i hopped in the truck to go to work. When i put the truck i gear the truck did not want to move. soI looked under the truck and i blew i tranny lines again. the guy who owned the truck before me cut the factory line now i have rubber ones. I fixxed the line stopped leaking. took it for a test drive everythings is goimg fine. Two minutes ago i go out to see if everything is still ok. i see tranny fluid now its coming frow the passanger side of the truck right above the tranny pan. it looks like its coming from were the little round electrical plug is. I think i might have to much fluid in the tranny is the possible? thanks for any help. Quote
kelleyperformance Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 trace it and see where its coming from. there are no openings arround that plug. there is a vent on the top of the case, in the middle. if you overfilled it, then fluid would come out of there. but its supposed to have a vent hose hooked up to it thats routed to the drivers side of the trans crossmember as an overfill drain. but from your description, the past owner prob removed it.
