[email protected] Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 paying top dollars for a system dont mean crap, but it does help when done right. if budget is what you are worried about, then specs is what you need to look at vs brands. i've heard $600 systems (amp/subs/deck/box/wires) sound just as good an in some cases better than $1000+ systems due to specs not mathing up.... meaning that your amp or sub pushes to much power for the other, sub boxes being too big or too small for the subs requirements, using to small of wiring, even tuning playes a major role and in some wtf cases, everything not matching...... the only thing that may hold me from chosing brand is the type of music you listen to...
