CoolBlueSS
The truck set a P0101 code yesterday. It ran fine, no loss of power, no misfire, trans shifted fine, so I just cleared the code. Hasn't come back through several ignition cycles. I'm thinking the MAF just has some trash on it. What can be used to clean it?
Fireman31
Either a can of Electrical Contact Cleaner or a can of MAF Cleaner will do the trick(both are virtually the same thing)...........
CoolBlueSS
Thanks Dan. I recently cleaned my K&N, and probably put too much oil on it.

SS Silv
Thanks Dan. I recently cleaned my K&N, and probably put too much oil on it. After I clean and oil my K&N I will take the truck out on the highway for 15 minutes, than when I get back I will clean my MAF.
2bfast
That code sounds like an EVAP leak code. Which is most likely gas cap loose. But cleaning the MAF never hurts none the less!!

Absolutely is not an EVAP code, anything in the lower P0100-110 range is a MAF code. A P0101 is for poor MAF performance. EVAP codes are in the P0440-450 range.........
