Stolen Silverado Ss

So I am new at this so go easy on me! I found this forum after searching online and saw other fellow SS owners! On Oct 22 mine was stolen from Lewisville, TX from the EMC Building off the HWY 121 Bypass. Since there aren't many of them around PLEASE, PLEASE keep your eyes open for one that may appear suspicious. My fear is it is probably in a million pieces...but please...it was my husbands pride and joy. It's a 2004 Black SS with a bumper sticker in the rear window that says "Ken Harper is with me 5/25/77 - 7/6/07. If you have any info please let me know!!!!!

got eyes out in houston, tx for ya! sorry about the loss hope everything turns out for the best!

Thank you. Not only is my husbands "baby" but it also has sentimental value to it also. In July my husbands brother was killed in an accident and it had a lot of "Ken" in it. It sucks that people can be so awful.

ill deff keep a look out. Im always out on westimer and car meets so if i see anything ill contact you...anything besides the bumper sticker that makes it stand out...aftermarket rims for example?

It's got 20" rims with Komo Tires??? ( I am a girl and I really didn't pay much attention to it) (The tires were wide) It has a crome SS class 3 trailer hitch cover. Other than a few dings and scratches there is nothing that really sets it aside. License plate TX 39L XJ4 although they have probably switched the license plate out. It has a NTTA toll tag directly under the rear view mirror (it's one of the new ones that are stickers). There is a scratch on the rear passenger door (inside). And an oily stain on the drivers side floor mat and a little on the carpet. He had a blue gym bag which had orange tie down straps. Oh, the passenger headlight is out! I saw it on the survalence camera that showed it being stolen (too grainy to id the bastards, though!)

Oh, yeah, FYI to everyone who has OnStar...we allowed our subscription to expire, however we called OnStar just moments after we realized it was stolen and they said there was nothing they could do do to the change in technology. Apparently they have already switched from analog to digital, so sadly they were unable to help us. I don't know how many other people may have done the same, but I thought I would share that little bit with you'll so that if it can prevent this from happening to someone else, then something positive came from this...although I am still not sure what! The suckiest part is I wish they had stolen our other vehicle! Not the truck! It is paid off - the other is an SUV and we are sssoooo upside down on it!

Thanks again everyone! I am still somewhat hopeful that they will find our truck. I have also been checking sites that sell parts.

I defiantly know what you mean when you say you notice other SS's. We do too. We live near Denton, TX and have seen a blue one and a red one.

Anyways, thanks again. The police can only do so much and of course every truck I pass on the roads I do a double take just hoping it's ours. I guess that comes with having a vehicle stolen.
