And make sure you have at least a finger's width of space between the hose and anything hot, and maybe even an inch between that hose and the converter because cats get blistering hot. Mr. P. misterp Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 I used pushlock fittings and hose from the tranny all the way to the cooler. Pushlock fittings and hose are designed to be used WITHOUT worm type clamps. Clamping them actually makes the connection leak and failure prone.
