I bought this reciever on the reconmendation of Dylan. I bought this about a one year ago, with hopes of putting it to good use with my new Widescreen. Unfortunately running 7 sets of speaker wires and mounting speakers on the old Plaster and Lath walls, in a 145 year old farm house was not feasible. Therefore if someone is looking for a really decent deal on 7.1 system, this is it. There for I wil give you, SSS.com brotheren (and sisteren) first dibs before it goes on Ebay. MSRP is $699.00 and I paid about $450.00. UPDATE - Looking for $275.00 SHIPPED for the lower 48 ... This is Brand New. The unit has Never been out of the box. Yes this model is discontinued by Denon, but it is Brand New and a really fair price for what you get. Denon.com - AVR 2106 for all particulars. This will be going on ebay in about two days ...
