Interior Package On The Ss

Ok im not a SS but ive seen some listed claimin they were SS's they had cladding the whole bit. These listing had the 20/40/20 console and non digital ac controls. Im under the impression that the ss has the console leather and is decked out to the hilt. Question is does the SS have different interior option packages

short answer= yes you could get the SS with cloth interior etc..

the cloth was an option that was available when they switched to RWD I think.....also many of the earlier models came with the manual dual dial climate control only, along with a cassette/CD player in the dash too.......some did not come with OnStar or XM Radio either..... thats right my 03 came with xm and no onstar and manual ac controls cloth was not an option till 05 just like the sun roof

I have digital controls, xm for my 03 and no Onstar (unless it was removed). Thanks for clearing up the Onstar Dan, I thought the dealership removed it for the original owner and I was trying to figure out how it didnt set off any alarms, codes etc.

my '03 has digital a/c but no XM or Onstar. IMO cloth in an SS = waste of money

I got everything but a sun roof. Sun roofs were not an option until 05.

Manual controls, No XM, No Onstar, leather heated. The previous owner added Sirrius which I love.

Digital heat controls, no XM, no sunroof, no tape deck, but 6CD changer in dash, factory unit. Leather, with heated seats, etc.

A rare one I would think is the engine block heater option. Its rare, and hardly ever selected except in extreme northern conditions, etc. I dont know if it was an option on the SS with the 6.0L though, but it was with the 5.3L and 4.8L.

Mine is exactly like I would have ordered, Dual Zone Climate Control, No XM, No Onstar, No Steering Controls. It's got no extra lumps and bumps on the roof for a smooth look and swaping in a DD DVD was a breeze. Love it.
