Jaymz Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Well, Finally got it done. I Spent most the weekend at my friends house ( hes got a massive heated shop ) 4 coats of primer, 1 sanded, 1 color sanded, 1 wet sanded 3 coats base, 1 block/wet sanded 3 coats clear Dodge viper black, and chevy white I'm Still in the process of cutting and buffing, and still have to lay down a hand polish.. and also have to get enough guys together to get the hood back on...but you guys get the general idea. Theres alot of buffing wheel dust on it...it should be dam close to a mirror finish. I'll get pictures when its washed up and polished AND BEFORE Quote

Hankg42 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Growing up, my next door neighbor had a '56 Buick that I liked a lot. (He had a '53 prior to that.) It was a blue / white 2 tone combo. Yours is coming along great! Quote

Jaymz Posted January 6, 2009 Author Report Posted January 6, 2009 Ty guys appreciate it ! all the hard works startin to pay off. anyone know where to get bumpers re-chromed at a good price ? The closest place near me "sioux plating" wants over $700 a bumper. ( the accountant is going to shut me off soon ) keep in mind, these are very large bumpers.. with lots of curves and such. Quote
