NebraSSka truck Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) Honestly, you are going to see some wavyness on most cladding pieces espeacially if the cladding is from on 03 or 04. It's just they way it is. Do a search on the site and you will see many others have the same issues, me included. eddieo818 Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Heres what I would do: Lay it on the floor with the paint side down and heat it up with a heat gun or even a hair dryer... or Lay it on the floor with the paint side down then grab small red brick set where it where it needs to go and let it sit in the hot sun all day. supersub Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 The material used to make these cladding pieces are "TPO",For that it does have what you would call memory. Heat it up with a heat gun,it will fall back into shape @ 90-95%,then once in place do a raped cool down.it will hold,repeat several times.some cosmetic repair may be needed. the floor awieght idea is a good one,just add heat,then cold. I bought one of those pieces he is selling,they are fugged UP! lucky i only need to cut the end off. these seem to be factory run offs,discards do to LARGE face SCARS.
