murguia68 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 I have these 20 inch centerlines currently on my 08 RCSB but I want some black 20 SS Rims Matte preferred but gloss will do. If anyone has a nice set and is interested in tading let me know. Im in SO. Cal. I keep my tires you keep yours. My rims are in great shape. As for my truck I havent done too much, Ive been too dam busy with school and work. I put a magnaflow, tune, tonneau cover, 3 inch drop in the back, and tint. 20_blkss_04 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 def. dont get chrome ones and then powder coat them....more money that way...just get a cheap silver painted set online (ebay has them pretty cheap!) and then powder coat those!! the powder coater will hate you if you bring him chrome vers. painted! 20_blkss_04 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 also for your info.....are you aware of the center cap, issue??? if not its the fact that some powder coaters cant match the tones of black between the painted center cap( since it cant be powdercoated) and the metal rim thats powdercoated. basicaly its a little more difficult for the painter to match the powder coating on the center cap! but if you do it with patience it can come out almost perfect!!!
