goleee33
I would love to get an exhaust to release some more hp but I want it to be as quiet as possible inside AND outside. Don't get me wrong i love the way they sound loud i just want it to appear and sound as much like stock as possible! I was thinking about just cutting out the stock muffler and getting a large case magnaflow thrown in. I want to keep the stock piping as i would like to keep the exit looking stock. Also does that rear resonator on the NNBS hold up hp as well? Thanks!
superslowss
Your best bet probably would be magnaflow. But nothing aftermarket that I know of would be as quiet as stock. Just don't dump the magnaflow and you should be fine.
goleee33
yeah i dumped the exhaust in my old truck and drone like crazy! although it was a flowmaster but still....
superslowss
haha yeah flowmasters drone like nuts. I have my dual in dual out magnaflow dumped and it does not drone enough to make me change it. I love the sound. It's quiet at idle and it's nasty when I get on it! goleee33
I love the loud sound but i want it to be pretty quiet kinda sleeperish but still free up some power. I will also get it retuned once i get the exhaust. Will that help? or is it not even worth it? Its free from my tuner, but its a good 45-60 minute drive each way. superslowss
Depends on what kind of exhaust you go with. If it's only a muffler swap then I don't think it will be worth the drive but if you go with headers and cats and the whole 9 yards then yes a tune would be a good idea.
