goleee33
Is there any benefit performance wise by increasing the oil capacity in the differential or is just for wear prevention and durability? I was thinking about getting a high capacity cover for my 14bolt.
12'SROCK
yes more fluid equals cooler running gears, and some of them even put preload on the carrier bearing caps for even more support
Fireman31
and they look awesome.....TA Performance makes a really nice cover/bearing girdle
goleee33
so what exactly does the preload do? Alow you to launch better? or just again more durability?
Fireman31
so what exactly does the preload do? Alow you to launch better? or just again more durability? Durability, the preload set by the bearing girdle/cover is around 25 ft/lbs and puts pressure on the bearing caps to prevent them from stretching/moving......
