12'SROCK
no the only real issue you need to worry about is your brakes not working up to par with the added weight of the wheels, although added weight on the suspension slows down the rebound of the suspension but you should be fine
Merc Dr.
If you go that big your main problem will be turning. You"ll have to make 10 point turn to get in a parking spot. I'd do 22s maybe 24s max. You might want to check under the appearance or suspension area. Also watch what mods people have listed under their avatar and PM the guys with big rims. F1SSS
man please dont do 26" please x3 edit-to each his own but imo I wouldnt put anything more than 22s. Turning on the stock 20s is a pita already, or at least where I live. Edited April 1, 2009 by 03maSSS (see edit history)
SSThunder
22's and 24's can look great on our trucks. 26's are pushing it but I think we've got a guy on here who has done it and the rims he chose look good.
haul@ss
I've seen some decent 24s on SS's but daym with 22's mine rub already... You would have to get really really REALLY low pro tires to fit with and 26s and that equals less protection for your new wheels.. Keep in mind that if the width is wider, you run the chances of rubbing the inner fender liner wearing the contacting part of the tire a lot quicker. rocker21
dont do 26s man 24s make most ss look great with 22s tho and you will save alot of money on rims and especially tires in the long run!!!
