Having Fun In A Parking Garage

1 Fast SS

Recommended Posts

I was bored so I took a stroll thru one of the casino parking garages, and took a video. I was trying to set off some alarms, and hear my loud-a$$ exhaust echo with the cam, but nothing. I guess nobody had an alarm where I was. Anyway, just before the stupid batteries went dead in my camera, a security guard was standing there just as I turned to go out. He didn't do anything but ask me what I was looking for, Nothing really! Just having alittle fun. I was going to do a burnout, and I'm glad I didn't.:nono: I know it's only a sercurity guard, but hey, he could have called the fuzz on me.

whats that orange light on ur cluster?? i dont mean the needles lol ..........

Looked like the ASR to me, btw nice vid. I set off the same alarm everyday on same car leaving work in my parking garage. Been about 4 months now. Then last week I drove by and the lady had her hood up. I asked you ok? She says, yeah I guess my battery is dead, I grinned, hmmmm I wonder why.... :D

Yeah it was my traction control. I always keep it off, just in case. I was also in 1st gear as you can tell. I was tempting myself to light them up a few times but I wasn't in the mood. I was mainly there to set some alarms off and bail, but none went off. At least I made the guards day by hearng a nice muscle truck go by. Now that I think of it, he was hiding behind the concrete column until I went by. I know that he had to of heard my truck earlier in the vid, so he prolly thought that I was going to smoke'm, and then call on me.

traction controll how do you turn that off... is that a 2wd thing??

yes I believe it's only on the 06's with the 2wd. GM calls it ASR Anti Slip Recovery. basicly with it off, as in vid, your rear wheels will not be restricted to burnout. You have to turn it off everytime you start your truck or else is auto on. There is a b utton on dash above headlight switch. If its on, as soon as it detects a burnout the ASR reduces the power to recover from the spin. It's a safety feature basicly...
