raidaz4lyfe
how much did he charge u and what software does he use He charges $500 for the initial tune and then any retune thereafter is $300. I'm not sure of the software he is using, but you could call him at 916.331.1611.

raidaz4lyfe
what should a retune cost? I haven't done the major mods to warrant a retune so I hadn't even thought about a price.
ImpalaSSpeed96
LOL, retunes should be free! But then again, I make friends w/ my tuners lol. But most charge 50 dollars. A lot will just charge dyno time if you're putting it on the dyno.
pnblwzd
$500/$300 is high IMO as well. Closer to ~$300/$50 would be better.
raidaz4lyfe
I almost went to a tuner in Newark, CA that was only charging $300 for a tune, but after speaking with a few past customers that felt they got ripped off and that shop didn't know what they were doing, I decided to spend the extra $200 for someone that really knew what they were doing. I'll have to call Keith and see why he charges so much for a retune. When I finally do some engine mods and supercharge the truck I may opt for a mail order tune if its cheaper. My warranty is still good so I'm holding off.
