SRT10KLLR
I went out to the Irwindale Speedway and managed a 8.5 with my street tires. Here is the breakdown: R/T .639 60' 1.891 330 5.485 1/8 8.553 MPH 79.73 Does anyone know what that would equate to in the 1/4? My previous runs at the 1/4 mile track were 13.9 with 8.8 1/8. 12'SROCK
nice job Jaime... well in all honesty the 1/8th mile to 1/4 mile conversions are not accurate because there are a lot of factors that are involved
SRT10KLLR
Which truck in your sig was this in?LOLI went in the Silverado. I am planning on going back next week in the SRT-10. While at the track I was told that the 1/4 mile(California Speedway) will be open this Saturday so I will be heading that way tomorrow. Let's see what she does in the 1/4. I had read before that for every .10 in the 60ft you reduce your 1/4 by 3 tenths. What about the 1/8 though? No matter no need for the conversion tomorrow at the California Speedway. A guy in a Silverado said he would lend me his full slicks. He said his 4.8L with nitrous does 8.5 in the 1/8 and has no problem hooking with those tires. I have tried my DR's and still spin so full slicks might be on order.

12'SROCK
So this was in a 408 RCSB Silverado? yep thats the truck he was running at the track
SRT10KLLR
So this was in a 408 RCSB Silverado?Yes, it should be faster. It is a low(currently 8.8:1) cr motor built for boost that still has the stock air box, intake, exhaust manifolds, muffler etc.
ImpalaSSpeed96
Usually a X1.55 works well, but for our bricks it doesn't quite equate. Figure it'd be about a 13.4 to 13.5 depending on your top end. MPH says only about a 99 trap speed though, so figure 13.5. For my truck about X1.59 works. 8.55X1.59=13.

I ran the 1/4 today and ran 13.7 with a slightly slower 8.678 1/8 plus the weather and track were not as good today. You can see the 1/4 times thread here: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...w_post&f=
