NTMD8R_SS Posted May 29, 2009 Report Share Posted May 29, 2009 Guys i need to know the part# for bilstein shocks that will work for my dropped ss, 3/4 drop I cant find any listed so are their any that are interchangable? I really want them asap since my front end will be in pieces in the comming weeks and i want to slap on new shocks while its torn down. Thanks, JR. pnblwzd Posted May 29, 2009 Report Share Posted May 29, 2009 According to Bilstein when I called them, they do not make a shock for a lowered SSS. You can try experimenting with their general purpose shocks hoping to get the correct extended and compressed dimensions correct, and the specs for those are posted on their website, but who knows if the valving will be correct etc - and they won't release specs for non general purpose shocks to try and make a more educated guess on what to buy. I found a guy whit a denali, same drop as me spindels/drop keys and is running theses bilstein part#F4-BE5-6500-H0, theses should work for our truck too, im hoping atleast,lol.
