SS Silv
I have had my K&N filter for about 4 years and it is looking pretty beat up from being washed numerous times. Is there a point where it just needs to be replaced, or do they last a long time?
F1SSS
My brother has had his for 4+ years on his gmc with cleanings, seems fine. IMO I would replace it though.
Fireman31
It should be fine. A new element is only like $40 if you do purchase one, you may also want to consider a DryCharger sleeve to improve filtration. Fireman31
After the sleeve gets dirty, do you just spray it out with water? Yeah it washes clean with soap and water, I believe it is machine washable too. It does a great job of keeping the main filter cleaner, longer.
