sprayed99
I can drive the s-10 for about 30-40 miles then it shows KR all over the place sometimes even at idle, then I get the PO327 code. I have checked all the wiring and have even replaced the sensors. Any ideas guys? could it be something in the tune? Fireman31
FYI, AllData shows that P0327 is for knock sensor low frequency bank 1, not low voltage, Apparently you can over torque the sensors when installing them which can cause this code to be thrown. Has the truck thrown a P0332(low frequency bank 2) at all? Maybe the answer is to decrease the sensitivity of the knock sensors a bit...... I have decreased them....I think im going to go ahead and pull ther intake again and use teflon tape (heard it works) and it has only been the front sensor that is freaking out....I have even swapped them and it made no difference. We will see if this helps
sprayed99
I also have a log of the truck when it acts up, and the tune if anyone wants to take a look at it Edited June 1, 2009 by sprayed99 (see edit history)
Krambo
I feel your wiring harness (knock sensor wires) is grounding out or the connection is intermittently broken. Check the wires right where they come out of the back of the intake for crimps, frays or breaks. Lay some new wire if you find some. There is a reason GM places some padded wiring sleeves on the knock sensor leads at this location (pull the sleeves back and inspect). This is very common during the magnacharger installs as well.
