PHALERYDR
Lately I have been having an issue with my 04 AWD SS. Sometimes when it is put in reverse it will not move. If I put it back in park and then reverse it moves but feels like it is slipping before going in gear. Anyone else have this problem and is my transmission about to take a dump? Fireman31
sounds like you may have a problem with the linkage, or worse yet an issue with the reverse drum.....

Jaymz
I suspect you have an issue with one of clutches that holds in reverse, the reverse input or the low/reverse pack. you still have 1st and 4th ? Jaymz
if you mean does it still go through the gears then yes I think. take it to a local shop. If they don't know right off hand from telling you, They have a diagnostic system they can plug it, take it around the block, and tell you within minutes whats wrong. Good luck
