bikeman311
Ok washed and detailed my truck last night and added a can of seafoam to the tank, I go to start up the truck and nothing happens. After a jump the truck starts and idels at 500-600rpm but once i put it in gear it drops to 400-200rpm and stalls half the time the volt meter also will go down as well before it stalls. Tday i go to the auto parts store and the batery is checked and comes confirms its toast so I put a new one in and the same thing???? Just before the new battery it threw a CEL , I dont know the code but the guy said it was all four O2 sensors. So what should I do, I'm going to start w/ cleaning the MAF ( this was done 3-4 months ago) and after this is it the alternator? and is there any way to check the alternator w/o taking it off and if so is this easy to change, never done it b4, thanks guys. SuperStock
I had the same problem and all I had to do was change the MAF sensor, and or clean it but the prongs on the inside of mine broke. So if you pull it off and the little prongs are broken on the inside its time to replace if not than just try cleaning it.
